Vitamin C Derivative
Vitamin C derivative ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate is used as an ingredient in the serum. It has the same effects as ascorbic acid, but studies show that it is much more stable compared to ascorbic acid, and it does not burn, making it suitable for sensitive skin.
Squalane
is a derivative of squalene, which is a natural component of human sebum. It softens our skin and improves its texture while repairing the damaged function of the lipid barrier and preventing skin dehydration.
Vitamin E
is often found in cosmetic products under the name tocopherol. It is a naturally occurring antioxidant that protects the skin against free radicals. It also increases the skin's moisture as it is fat-soluble.
Coenzyme Q10
In addition to helping us generate energy, it can neutralize free radicals produced by external factors such as UV rays and pollution. A sufficient amount of coenzyme Q10 can also speed up the production of collagen and elastin, thus slowing down skin aging.
AN IRREPLACEABLE PRODUCT IN SKINCARE
Facial serums are light liquids or gels with an oil or water base. They contain high concentrations of active ingredients that moisturize and/or nourish the skin and are easily absorbed when applied to the skin.
Facial serums are considered indispensable products in skin care. Why?
Because they are designed to penetrate deep into the skin and deliver targeted ingredients. This means that they have a much stronger and deeper effect on the skin than a face cream alone. Facial serums typically address a variety of skin concerns, such as anti-aging and skin brightening.
A SERUM IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR A MOISTURIZER
Serums are designed to penetrate deep into the skin and deliver targeted active ingredients. Facial creams, on the other hand, help to firm the skin's surface, bind skin cells more effectively, and work on the skin to increase hydration.
A facial serum is therefore not a substitute for a day or night cream, but only complements the action of other facial care products.
VITAMIN C - THE GOLD STANDARD FOR SKINCARE
Normal skin contains high concentrations of vitamin C, but research shows that vitamin C levels are lower in damaged and aged skin. It is also thought that low levels of vitamin C in the epidermis are associated with increased exposure to oxidative stress and UV radiation.
Vitamin C acts as a powerful antioxidant and protects the skin against free radicals. Its action helps us to prevent early aging and slows down the appearance of the first visible signs of aging. It is particularly effective when combined with vitamin E.
WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS OF VITAMIN C SERUM?
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, has not only many positive effects on the body but also remarkable effects on the appearance of our skin.
- It stimulates the production of collagen, which reduces fine lines and wrinkles and keeps the skin elastic
- Protects the skin against free radicals
- Controls hyperpigmentation and creates a more even skin tone
- Brightens the skin without changing skin color

Vitamin C serum is essential for your skincare routine for several reasons. Not only is it a powerful and active antioxidant when properly formulated, but it also fights free radicals, ensures an even skin tone, stimulates collagen production, and protects against sun damage and increased melanin pigment secretion.
It is most effective to apply vitamin C serum to the skin in the morning. It creates better protection against UV rays and free radicals, which are the main culprits of photo-aging, and to which we are mainly exposed during the day. Vitamin C Serum can also be used in the evening for a stronger brightening effect.
Always apply Vitamin C Serum to freshly cleansed skin. It is usually suggested to cleanse the skin first, apply a toner and then apply the vitamin C serum in the next step - followed by other serums, moisturizers, and SPF cream.
Generally, serums come in a glass dropper or ampoule, which you can simply drop 1-2 drops of the serum directly onto the skin and spread with your fingertips.
It is always advisable to wait for a little for the product to be absorbed properly, but with serums, 2 minutes between each step is usually enough.
Vitamin C moisturizers and serums are not a substitute for SPF protection. Although sunscreen is the first line of defense and is essential to protect the skin's surface from the harmful effects of UVA and UVB rays, sunscreens can only protect up to 55% of harmful free radicals.
Topical antioxidants such as vitamin C work within the skin to neutralize free radicals produced by all sources of oxidation and protect against UV damage. Incorporating topical antioxidants and sunscreens into your daily skincare routine ensures complete protection.
Don't worry, the vitamin C used in our serum is in the form of ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate. This form of vitamin C is inexpensive, does not cause flaking, and is therefore also suitable for sensitive skin.
Vitamin C is generally well tolerated, especially the milder, derivative forms of vitamin C. However, if you have very sensitive skin or skin prone to allergies, you should first test the product on a small area of your skin to make sure it is suitable for you.
